Vitastic Pittes for Souvlaki & Pizza. Pitte means ‘flat’ and is the Greek term for this famous bread that has been made the same way for centuries. To experience that authentic souvlaki taste, pan cook sliced fresh tender meat of your choice, or slice your cold roast into thin slices and reheat in a pan. Lay meat on pan heated Pittes for Souvlaki & Pizza. Top with sliced fresh lettuce, tomato, add olive oil, basil or oregano and a squeeze of lemon. Add garlic or tzatziki sauce to your liking. Roll quickly and serve hot.

Toast or grill: Toast on hot plate for 1 minute on each side before making your souvlaki with your choice of ingredients

Oven: Preheat Oven at 180c. Spread Pitte with butter or margarine and warm in oven, for approximately 3 minutes.

Take souvlaki meat and garnish with sliced tomatoes and red onions sauced with tzatziki, and wrap in a lightly grilled pita.
